Amazingly, the Father gave His beloved Son for the world. If there was ever a moment in which God’s love for the world reached a limit, it would have been the requirement of His Son’s life. If ever God would have said, “No, I will not do that!” it would have been to spare the Son in whom His soul delights.

Death is often viewed as the ultimate defeat, a final and irreversible end. It looms over humanity, casting a shadow of fear and uncertainty. However, for those who are in Christ, death has been decisively conquered.

The doctrine, substitutionary atonement, teaches that Jesus bore the full weight of our sin on the cross.

Like Jesus, we are called to faithfully obey even unto death by entrusting ourselves to the Father with the certain expectation that by the Father's power we, like Jesus, will experience resurrection and exaltation.
