Sharing the Good News—Here and Everywhere

At Christ Fellowship Northwest, we believe the gospel is for all people—our neighbors, our nation, and the nations. We partner with local ministries in the Upstate, support church planters across North America, and send missionaries around the world. Whether across the street or across the globe, our mission is the same: to embody Christ’s love and multiply disciples wherever God sends us.

  • Miracle Hill Ministries

Miracle Hill Ministries is an evangelical, gospel-infused mercy ministry that serves the Upstate of South Carolina. Their ministry takes the form of food, shelter, clothing, counseling, personal development, and addiction recovery. Their mission is to see homeless children and adults be cared for, hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, and move towards health and stability.

    How You Can Get Involved:

Miracle Hill offers many different volunteer opportunities in the Greenville community. Such as, volunteering at Miracle Hill’s Food Warehouse, their Overcomers’ Center for Men, or their Greenville Rescue Mission. More details can be found here: https://miraclehill.org/how-you-can-help/volunteer

If you are over the age of 23, another way that you can get involved is by becoming a mentor for either of Miracle Hills’ addiction recovery programs (Renewal for women and Overcomers for men). Training weekends for individuals seeking to become a mentor happen twice a year and more information can be found here: https://miraclehill.org/how-you-can-help/mentor

  • iFace

iFace partners with international students who come to Greenville to study at Furman or Clemson. The ministry partners these students with believing families, connects them with language learning facilities, and provides means for Christian families to engage with the nations that come to our city each year.

    How You Can Get Involved:

Attend an iFace training! This is your first step in all things iFace. Whether you want to volunteer yourself or just learn more about their ministry, filling out their contact form and picking a training date is the way to go.

    After you attend a training:

Become a Friendship Partner to be matched with a student and participate in cultural exchange on a monthly basis.

Become a Conversation partner and meet with an English language learner on a weekly basis for conversation practice and friendship.

  • Fostering the Family

Fostering the Family seeks to care for foster children and families by surrounding them with care communities. They seek to see these care communities formed by bringing awareness within the local church to the issues within the foster care system. Throughout this process they equip and support the care communities that form within local churches. Their ultimate goal is to make a lasting impact in vulnerable children’s lives.

    How You Can Get Involved:

One way you can get involved is by joining their Meet the Need Technology Portal. This will connect you to specific foster care related needs within your own community and enable you to become a catalyst for care within the church. To get involved as a volunteer in their system, visit: https://fosteringthefamily.org/get-involved

Fostering the family is asking for individuals to begin to make prayer for the vulnerable a weekly prayer habit with this seven-day prayer guide.

  • GirlUp GVL

GirlUp GVL seeks to empower young women with positive formative experiences to help them overcome obstacles and instead find great opportunities. We believe that the best way we can help these young women thrive is by introducing them to the gospel of Jesus, which is what all of our volunteers who work with GirlUp seek to do.

    How you can get involved:

Apply to be a volunteer tutor or mentor. Girl up needs older women to come and spend time with the girls in their program on a weekly basis.

Volunteer to bring the girls a meal. We have several MCs that provide a meal for the Girlup team and students several times a year. Encourage your MC to do this as well!

They do this by providing financial aid to families with children with CHD, as well as providing emotional and spiritual  support to these families as well.

    How you can get involved:

Each year the ERHF needs volunteers to help with a variety of needs. There are opportunities to volunteer with planning, executing, or follow-up with a specific event, as well as ways that individuals can serve Heart Families and Medical Staff.

Encourage your MC to volunteer with one of Emerson Rose’s fall or spring fundraisers

Volunteer to love and serve a family going through CHD by praying for them, visiting them or bringing them a meal.
