Current Series

In the coming weeks, we will journey together through the book of Galatians, a letter that calls the church back to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Throughout this series, we will see that the Gospel is rooted in the sovereign will of the Father and accomplished through the saving work of Christ alone. Galatians confronts every attempt to distort the Gospel by adding human effort to justification and reminds us that sinners are declared righteous not by works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ. As we walk through this letter, we will see how the Christian life begins by faith and continues by faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit and secured through Christ who became a curse for us to fulfill God’s covenant promises. We will also explore the purpose of the law in God’s redemptive plan, the freedom and adoption that belong to all who are united to Christ, and the Spirit-produced holiness that marks the lives of the justified. Ultimately, Galatians calls believers to stand firm in the freedom of the Gospel and to live as children of promise for the glory of God.
