Current Series
Proverbs is a collection of wisdom literature made up largely of short, independent sayings, which makes preaching straight through the book difficult. Because of this structure, this sermon series will focus on themes rather than sequential passages, dividing the teaching into two sections: studying wisdom and applying wisdom to everyday life. The series will explore how true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord and shapes areas of life such as speech, work, and relationships. Ultimately, this wisdom finds its fulfillment in Christ, whose atoning work enables believers to fear the Lord with reverent trust and obedient worship rather than dread.
