2026 One Mission Offering
Each year Christ Fellowship Northwest collects funds for the intentional investment in taking the gospel and seeing it bear fruit in the lives of those who do not yet know Christ whether they live in the Upstate or at the ends of the earth. In this we strive after the faithfulness to our mission statement:
CFNW exists to multiply disciples, leaders and churches from the Upstate of S.C. to the ends of the earth so that Jesus is known and worshiped.
This year we are asking God to provide $40,000 dollars to fund our One Mission 2026 budget. This budget would allow us to support
Three individuals and their churches which are doing difficult work in places far from us – Utah, Turkey, and Austria.
The Pillar Network which continues to help churches like ours plant new churches.
The Three Rivers Baptist Association, in Greenville County, led by Travis Kearns which is working to strengthen and revitalize churches in our area.
The South Carolina Baptist Convention which works with the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board to train and send missionaries.
The Pastor Residency which allows us to invest in young men who believe God has called them to pastor in a local church so that we might provide leaders to a growing number of churches.
The various local ministries through which we get to serve our neighbors such as the Piedmont Women’s Center, Emerson Rose, iFace, Gateway Elementary, Armstrong Elementary, and more.
How to Pray for One Mission 2026
We are hoping God will accomplish the following in the coming year:
1- Establish 2 or 3 Long Term Partnerships
We plan to send teams to Utah, Turkey, and Austria to explore the possibility of working longer term with the churches there. We desire to move the focus of our support from financial giving to an individual to the broader work of the church or ministry in which they serve. We hope that through visiting them we might learn if and how we can partner with them through 2029.
2- Create Mission Teams at CFNW
We hope to establish two teams of 3-4 people – one focused on local partnerships and one focused on distant partnerships. In 2026, these teams will be tasked with:
Identifying existing needs
Discover those attempting to meet the need
Explore how CFNW might partner with them
Develop a guide for establishing future partnerships with others
One Mission funds help us sponsor all CFNW members with a 15% discount on any trip they choose.
3- Send 20 CFNW Members on Short Term Mission Trips
We are planning trips to Utah, Central Asia, and Austria. There are also other opportunities through the CF Network. Short term trips are costly, but they allow us to:
Encourage brothers and sisters, many of whom are serving far from their families and friends.
See and rejoice in the greater work God is doing in the world.
Grow in us a greater love for the world and a greater passion for seeing them reached with the gospel.
We pray that God might move you to go with us to the nations in 2026.
4- Provide $40,000 or More through the Generosity of CFNW.
On December 14th, we will collect an offering to support local, national, and global missions. Our goal is to raise $40,000 throughout the next year. To participate we ask that you fill out our One Mission Pledge Card or submit your pledge ONLINE.
The One Mission Pledge Card allows us to plan for the year. On the card you will find a couple of options.
You can pledge to give a one-time gift on or before December 31st, 2025, that will go toward the 2026 fund.
You can pledge to give a recurring monthly gift January – December 2026.
These funds are above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings. Every dollar goes directly to the initiatives identified above. A detailed budget for the $40,000 is available upon request. Any funds received above and beyond $40,000 will also be used for the local and international missions.
Prayerfully Consider How You Can Participate
We look forward to seeing what God will do as we continue the work of multiplying, disciples, leaders, and churches from the Upstate to the ends of the earth. Will you consider how God might have you participate in the work? Perhaps he might move you to get on a plane and go encourage brothers and sisters in another country “face to face” (I Th. 3:1-5). Maybe, God has blessed you financially so that you might invest in raising up future church planters and pastors? Could it be that God has given you a passion to see CFNW more strategically meet needs in our local community so that you might serve with a team of men and women tasked with helping us do so more consistently?
We may not yet know how God intends to use each of us in the coming year, but we do know that he has called each of us to participate. Prayerfully consider what He would have you do this year, and then go do it with joy and confidence.
